51 13 319 Removing and installing or replacing trim strip on roof gutter strip at rear left or right

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Release rear section of TRIM STRIP ON GUTTER STRIP  (do not remove)

Lift out trim strip (1) from latch mechanisms (2).

Pull trim strip (1) in direction of arrow out of guide (2) and of strip (3).

Installation note: 

Coat sealing (4) of side window with water.

First feed in trim strip (1) into guide (2) and strip (3), then engage in sealing (4).

Sealing (4) must not be trapped by trim strip (1) (risk of damage).
