Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the ambient pressure sensor for implausible changes in the air pressure.

Fault monitoring conditions:

The fault is detected if:

• Impermissibly high changes occur in the air pressure between 2 driving cycles.
• impermissible high changes in the air pressure during a driving cycle and subsequent confirmation of the fault via adjustment with charging pressure occur.
