Action in service

• Measure the voltage at one of the sensors or actuators connected to 5V output 3 of the DME (see applicable wiring diagram).

If measured voltage is above 5.2 V there is a short circuit to B+:

Check cable harness between 5V output 3 of the DME and the sensors or actuators connected to it.

If measured voltage is less than 4.8 V:

One by one, disconnect the sensors or actuators connected to the 5 V output 3 of the DME and measure voltage; if the voltage reading goes to 5 V replace the sensor in question.
