Action in service

If a fault code entry for monitoring the 5V sensor supply is present (SSpMon2 fault), eliminate this first.

Check wires and plug connections between the following components:

DME and exhaust camshaft sensor.

Check exhaust camshaft sensor and camshaft sensor wheel for correct installation.

Replace exhaust camshaft sensor.

In the case of a simultaneous entry of camshaft fault check intake and exhaust of wiring harness of Digital Motor Electronics to crankshaft sensor.
