Action in service

Secondary faults: If additional faults for the following components are entered, rectify these faults first:

• Monitoring voltage (5 V) of sensors and actuators (supply 1): Voltage is outside of valid range or is too high or too low,
• Monitoring voltage (5 V) of sensors and actuators (supply 2): Voltage is outside of valid range or is too high or too low,
• Monitoring voltage (5 V) of sensors and actuators (supply 3): Voltage is outside of valid range or is too high or too low.

Check air system for correct functioning.

Check wires and plug connections between the following components:

• DME
• Charging pressure sensor

Replace charging pressure sensor.

On vehicles with pneumatically operated wastegate valve:

• Check wastegate valve pressure converter.
• Check vacuum line and vacuum.

On vehicles with electrically operated wastegate valve:

• Check electrical wastegate valve.
• Carry out system test of electrical wastegate valve.
