51 23 211 Removing and installing/replacing pull cable for hood/bonnet locks at front

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Unclip clutch housing Bowden cable (1) at marked points.

Installation note: 

Clips must not be damaged.

To open up clutch housing cover, lever up cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Feed rear Bowden cable (2) out of sliding carriage (1) and clutch housing (3).

NOTE: Shown removed here for purposes of clarity.

Pull back retaining spring from release lever (1).

Feed Bowden cable (2) out of release lever (1) and catch carrier (3).

Repeat procedure on second bonnet lock.

Unthread cable for bonnet locks and remove.
