Vacuum unit for turbine control flap: Check

The turbine control flap vacuum unit can be checked as follows:

  1. Pull off the vacuum hose from the vacuum unit.
  2. Connect the vacuum pump to the vacuum unit.
  3. Establish vacuum pressure at 500 mbar using the vacuum pump.
  4. If the vacuum unit does not  hold the vacuum: Renew  the vacuum unit.
  5. If the vacuum unit holds the vacuum: Continue with point 6.
  6. Pull the linkage in the direction of arrow. If the linkage can be pulled out in the direction of arrow without any resistance: Renew  the vacuum unit.
