41 35 101 Replacing Rear Left Side Panel

IMPORTANT: Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Installation information:

41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS serve as basis for adjustment tasks.

Partially detach trim panel (1).

Unlock and disconnect plug (2) for aerial.

Feed aerial line through hole (3).

Release screws.

Tightening torque 41 35 5AZ .

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Heat side panel in area of cavity acoustic baffle (2) with hot-air blower and carefully remove.

Installation:

Apply sealant to cavity acoustic baffle.

Also apply sprayable sealing compound on inside of side panel in area (1). Width approx. 50 mm.

Material: Terostat 9320.
