41 62 014 Adjusting Tailgate

The 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS . serve as the basis for adjustment work.
NOTE:
Stop screw (1) must not be damaged or missing.
The stop screw is preset and must not be used to adjust the tailgate.
Slacken screws (1) until such stage that the tailgate can still be moved.
Adjust tailgate laterally and longitudinally.
Height adjustment of tailgate with spacer plates. If this is not sufficient, adjust KINEMATICS BOX .
Retighten all screws.
Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ .
Adjust TAILGATE LOCK .
