65 81 060 Removing and installing/replacing outside temperature sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION

NOTE: Outside temperature sensor is situated in area (1) on left wheel arch cover (2).

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration shows wheel arch cover removed.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unclip outside temperature sensor (2) in direction of arrow from wheel arch cover.

Installation:

Make sure outside temperature sensor (2) is correctly engaged in wheel arch cover.
