65 77 740 Removing and installing/replacing front left/right door sensor (US version only

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
Remove SOUND INSULATION FROM FRONT DOOR

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 21 16AZ .

Remove adapter for door speaker (2).

Release screw (1) on front door sensor.

Tightening torque 65 77 4AZ .

Remove front door sensor and unlock and disconnect associated plug connection.

Installation:

Make sure front door sensor (1) is in correct installation position.

Guide lug (2) must be correctly seated in corresponding mounting on front door.
