64 53 521 Replacing safety pressure switch

Follow safety instructions for handling REFRIGERANT R134A and safety instructions for handling REFRIGERANT OIL .
IMPORTANT:
Follow INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING ON COOLING SYSTEM .
Risk of damage!
Restart engine only when air conditioning system has been correctly filled.
Follow instructions for OPENING AND REPLACING PARTS IN REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
If air conditioning is opened for more than 24 hours:
Replace DESICCANT INSERT for heating and air conditioning system. Read all notes regarding desiccant insert replacement on this vehicle.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Draw off / evacuate the A/C SYSTEM
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release safety pressure switch (2).
Installation note:
Tightening torque 64 53 14AZ .
Replace sealing ring.
After installation:
- Evacuate and fill A/C SYSTEM
