17 11 052 Removing and installing left module carrier (N20, N52K, N54, N54T)

WARNING: Risk of scalding!
Only perform this repair work after engine has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Loosen bolts (1) on radiator on left and right.

Tightening torque 17 10 2AZ .

Do not  unlock or detach the coolant hose (2).

Do not  drain coolant.

Slide the cooler and capacitor slightly to the rear.

Lift out module carrier (1) left to the top and remove.

Installation note: 

When reinstalling the module carrier (1) the correct fit of the cooler in the bracket (2) must be ensured!

Reassemble the vehicle.
