51 13 312 Removing and installing or replacing trim strip on roof gutter at left or right

Feed out windscreen frame sealing (1) on side of gutter strip trim strip (2).

Release door seal (1) from A-pillar.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 13 10AZ .

Release gutter strip trim strip (1) from clips (2).

Installation note:

Clips (2) must not be missing or damaged.

IMPORTANT: Bridge on gutter strip trim strip (1) must not trap sealing lip (2). Only then will gutter strip (3) function properly.

Installation note:

First clip in gutter strip trim strip (1), then screw it. Here, gutter strip trim strip (1) rests cleanly on and is flush with windscreen frame sealing (2).
