34 32 951 Replacing/rear left or right brake hose

NOTE:

Read and comply with GENERAL INFORMATION .

Press brake pedal down to floor and secure with pedal support.

NOTE: The pedal support may only be released when the brake lines are reconnected.
This prevents brake fluid from emerging from the expansion tank and air from entering the system when the brake lines are opened.

Loosen union nut (1), for this grip brake hose at square head (2).

Installation note: 

Tightening torque 34 32 1AZ .

Remove retaining clip (3) and remove brake hose from bracket.

Remove retaining clip (1) and remove brake hose from bracket.

Disconnect brake hose (2) from brake caliper.

Installation note: 

Tightening torque 34 32 3AZ .

IMPORTANT: Mount brake hose first on brake caliper and tighten, then on the brake line/brake hose separation point.
Never twist brake hose when installing it and avoid all contact with parts attached rigidly to the body.
