61 31 336 Removing and installing/replacing trim for gear selector switch

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove center console trim  . See 51 16 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTER CONSOLE TRIM (GEAR SELECTOR SWITCH) .

Release screws (1) and raise trim for gear selector switch (2) slightly. Tightening torque, see 61 31 3AZ  in 61 31 SWITCH .

Disconnect plug connection underneath and remove trim for gear selector switch (2).

Replacement: 

Remove switch for electromechanical parking brake   .
