13 62 531 Replacing coolant temperature sensor (S65)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DME control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
Switch off ignition
Remove intake air manifold . See 11 61 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD (S65) .

Unlock plug and remove

Remove temperature sensor.

Installation:

Tightening torque, 13 62 1AZ . See 13 62 SENSORS (S65)
