Position Sensor: Construction

The position sensor is an inductive sensor (an analogue sensor).
The position sensor is made up of 2 parts. The illustration shows one of the two parts of the position sensor, magnified approx. 3 fold. The two parts are installed as follows:
- The first part (see illustration) is fixed to the frame in the headlight housing.
- The other part is connected to the positioner module and moves with the positioner module: The moving part of the position sensor is thus turned relative to the fixed part.
