51 24 105 Removing and installing/replacing rear lid lock

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove panel for rear lid, see 51 49 000 Removing and installing/replacing panel for rear lid .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 24 1AZ  , see 51 24 REAR LID LOCKS .

Feed out lock (2), disconnect plug connection and remove lock (2).
