52 14 040 Removing and installing/replacing outer cover on left or right front seat

Unclip cover (1) from front cover.

Unclip cover from lower latch mechanisms. Pull cover toward rear and unclip on sides.

Unclip cover from front latch mechanisms. Unclip cover from upper latch mechanisms by twisting upward.

Remove cover in direction of arrow. Installation note: First insert clip (1) in seat mechanism.

Installation note overview of last operation: Apply felt to inside of clip (1). Clip (1) must be correctly seated in seat mechanism.

Installation note: Retaining clips for cover must not be damaged. If necessary, replace faulty cover.

Installation note: Clip for cover must not be damaged. If necessary, replace faulty cover.

Installation note: Insert felt-covered clip into rear seat mechanism. Position cover straight and insert in front cover trim. Clip in cover from rear to front. Clip cover in front cover trim.
