63 17 070 Removing and installing/replacing left front fog lamp

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove trim grille in bumper trim (side)  , see 51 11 185 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING GRILLE (SIDE) IN BUMPER TRIM .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (4) and remove fog lamp (2) from bumper trim (3). Tightening torque 63 17 1AZ  , see 63 17 FRONT FOG LAMPS, ADDITIONAL LAMPS .

Installation: 

Make sure fog lamp (2) is correctly seated on bumper trim (3).

Guide (5) of fog lamp (2) must be positioned in associated recess in bumper trim (3).

Replacement: 

If necessary, remove bulb  , see 63 99 201 Replacing halogen bulb for left or right front fog lamp .

Adjust front fog lights  , see 63 10 014 Adjusting fog lights .
