63 31 180 Replacing LED for front door trim panel light

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Operation is shown by way of example on the E70. There may be differences in detail in the case of other vehicle models.

Remove sheathing of wiring harness (1) in area (A).

Cut through wiring harness (1) in area (A) and remove LED for front door trim panel light (2).

Installation:

Adapt length of wiring harness of new LED for front door trim panel light.

Connect wiring harness of new LED for front door trim panel light using butt connectors to wiring harness (1), see 61 13... BUTT CONNECTOR FOR REPAIRING A PLUG CONNECTION .

Wrap wiring harness (1) in insulating tape.
