61 11 200 Installing repair cable for reversing camera (TRSVC)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove and install tailgate trim.
Remove and install trim panel for rear roof pillar (D-pillar) on right.
Remove and install B-pillar trim at top right. See 51 43 148 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM ON LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR (TOP) .
Remove and install shoulder in luggage compartment on right. See 51 47 156 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT CAPPING IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .
Remove and install speaker bracket at rear right. See 65 13 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SPEAKER CARRIER (D-PILLAR) .
Remove and install right luggage compartment wheel arch trim. See 51 47 161 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
Remove and install rear door sill cover strip on right.
Remove and install side trim panel, footwell, on A-pillar, right. See 51 43 075 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SIDE TRIM PANEL, FOOTWELL, ON A-PILLAR, RIGHT .
Remove and install tailgate trim. See 51 45 185 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR PEDALS .
Remove and install side carpet on storage compartment (center console). See 51 16... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SIDE CARPET ON STORAGE COMPARTMENT (CENTER CONSOLE) .

Release screws (1) on left and right. Remove coat hook (2) and release screw (3).

Release right screw (1) on D-pillar. Pull off edge protection (2) in headlining area. Lower rear right headlining.

IMPORTANT: headlining must not be twisted or kinked!

Release screws (1) on driver's and passenger sides and remove air duct (2).

Unlock the lock (1) in direction of arrow with suitable tool.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Unlock the lock (3) carefully with a suitable tool. Pull connector housing (4) of line (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: Pay attention to encoding (5)!

Tape off ground (1) on repair cable to prevent damage during routing.

Pull off connector (1) and tie back onto wiring harness (2). Connect repair cable to camera and route and secure along wiring harness (2).

Unclip wiring harness (1) at the points marked in the picture and release from the tailgate. Route and secure repair cable along wiring harness (1). Attach wiring harness (1) to tailgate.

Unclip rubber grommet (1) from tailgate. Route repair cable with feed-in aid through rubber grommet (1) into passenger compartment.

Route and secure repair cable along wiring harness (1).

NOTE: Roofliner is shown removed for purposes of clarity.

Route and secure repair cable along wiring harness (1). Release ground point (2) and attach repair cable.

Route and secure repair cable (2) along wiring harness (1).

Lift carpet in area of rear entry strip. Remove insert (2). Open cable channel (1) and route and secure repair cable on wiring harness.

Lift carpet in area of front entry strip. Open cable channel (1 and 2) and route and secure repair cable on wiring harness.

Route and secure repair cable (1) on wiring harness (2) in footwell.

Feed through repair cable (1) under heating and air-conditioning unit (2) from passenger footwell into driver's footwell.

Lay repair cable in direction of arrow under heating and air-conditioning unit (1), foam material (2) and carpet (3).

Route repair cable in direction of arrow and secure.

Detach connector (3) from TRSVC control unit. Tie back detached cable to wiring harness. Connect repair cable to free slot.

NOTE: Lay any repair cable overlength under carpet and secure. Cut off old cable connectors after completing camera check.

Plug 4	Bumper camera, left
Plug 5	Exterior mirror camera, left
