51 42... Replacing speaker cover on rear left or right door trim panel (mid-range speaker)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove door trim panel, see 51 42 000 Removing and installing (replacing) rear left or right door trim panel .
• Remove mid-range speaker, see 65 13 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPEAKER (MID-RANGE SPEAKER, DOOR AT REAR) .

Remove plastic welded joints (1) on speaker cover (2) completely.

Installation: 

Speaker cover (2) can only be installed in one position.

Attach speaker cover (1) to door trim panel.

Secure retainers (3) to plastic guides (2) so that speaker cover (1) rests fully on door trim panel.
