51 45 372 Removing and installing/replacing decorative strip on instrument panel on driver's side on left

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317  , see 00 9 317 TRIM PANEL WEDGE .

Carefully unclip decorative strip (1) with special tool 00 9 317  at retaining points (2) and remove.

Installation: 

Make sure retainers are correctly seated on decorative strip.

If necessary, replace faulty retainers.
