51 32 160 Removing and installing/replacing housing cover on inner left or right door window frame: Notes

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

If necessary, feed out cable (1) and disconnect plug connection.

Lever cover (2) out of retainers (3).

Unclip cover (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation: 

Following parts of cover (3) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Retainer (not on E87)
2. Sound insulation
