65 77 740 Removing and installing (replacing) left front door sensor

Incorrect handling can activate airbag and cause injury.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Partially detach sound insulation , see 51 48 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SOUND INSULATION IN LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR .
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 65 77 4AZ , see 65 77 AIRBAG TRIGGERING CONTROL .
Remove sensor with pin (2) from door panel fit (3) towards rear and disconnect associated plug connection.
Installation:
Make sure fit (2) is correctly seated.
