NOTE:
Follow instructions for HANDLING OPTICAL FIBRES

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
- Remove luggage compartment . See 51 47 151 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM (WITH 3RD SEAT ROW) or 51 47 151 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM trim on left.
Release screws (1).
Feed out video module (2) complete with holder towards top.
NOTE:
The number of plug connections (1) and screws (2) can vary, depending on the video module version.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and remove holder from video module for on-board monitor.
Replacement:
Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND CODING .
After replacing the video module and programming, it is absolutely essential to reset the TV standard of the country in question.
