The fault is recognized when a required throttle valve adaptation cannot be implemented due to failure to comply with specified general environmental conditions.

Potential problem source(s):

-Failure to comply with specified conditions when throttle valve adaptation routine is activated (electrical system voltage > 10V, Terminal 15 on, engine off, no other throttle valve diagnostic fault codes
