51 24 120 Removing and installing/replacing left or right lock for rear lid lower section

Necessary preliminary tasks 

• Remove TRIM FOR REAR LID LOWER SECTION .

Security vehicles:

• Remove rear lid lower section armour-plating

Disconnect Bowden cable (1 or 2).

1. Bowden cable for right lock
2. Bowden cable for left lock

Release screws (1).

Feed out lock (2) with Bowden cable (3).

Installation: 

Make sure Bowden cable (3) is in correct position.

Tightening torque 51 24 2AZ .
