51 34 420 Removing and installing/replacing trim on window frame of rear door (front), left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Detach rubber seal (1) and rubber guide (2) from trim.

Release screws (1).

Carefully detach trim (2) towards front/top.

Installation: 

Moisten rubber window seal prior to fitting with water.

Fitted foam pieces must not be damaged when trim (2) is pushed in.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty plastic nuts (1).

Make sure rubber window seal is correctly seated.

Necessary preliminary tasks

Release screws (1).

Carefully detach trim (2) towards front/top.

Installation: 

Fitted foam pieces must not be damaged when trim (2) is pushed in.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty plastic nuts (1).
