51 33... Slightly loosen power window regulator to remove door lock in left or right front door

NOTE: To remove door lock, move rear section of sound insulation (1) toward center.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Partly remove SOUND INSULATION FROM FRONT DOOR .

Slacken nut (1).

Mask off opening in inner door panel (2) with adhesive tape as shown.

Tightening torque: 51 33 1AZ

Press the window lift rail (2) toward the outer door panel.

Guide the door lock (3) in front of the window lift rail.

NOTE: Avoid damaging the paint finish. (Risk of corrosion)
