51 16 163 Removing and installing/replacing rear center console trim

Special tools required: 

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

For versions without armrest: 

Lever out rear center console panel trim (1) with special tool 00 9 325 upwards.

For versions with armrest: 

Move armrest (1) on center console (2) completely forward.

Lever out rear center console panel trim (1) with special tool 00 9 325 upwards.

Installation: 

Retaining tabs (2) of rear center console trim panel (1) must not be damaged.

If necessary, disconnect plug connection (3).

Remove rear center console trim panel (1).

Replacement 

Modify 12 V power socket if necessary.
