51 42 000 Remove and install left or right rear door trim panel

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Version with roller sunblind:

Extend the roller sunblind (2).

Unclip the window guide cover (1).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 42 1AZ .

Unclip clips (1) 00 9 317 of door trim panel with special tool.

NOTE: Start unclampping at bottom. Damaged clamps need to be replaced.

Lift door trim panel out of holder.

Disengage Bowden cable (1) for release lever first at counter support (2) and then at door lock (3).

Disconnect all plug connections and remove door trim panel.

Installation note:

After assembling the door trim panel proceed as follows:
