34 33 081 Removing and refitting/replacing travel sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Read and comply with GENERAL INFORMATION .
• Remove BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER .

If the tightening torque applied is incorrect malfunctions can occur.

Undo screws (1) and remove travel sensor (2).

Installation note: 

Replace screws.

Tightening torque 34 31 2AZ .

The following service function must be performed after completing the repair work:

• Calibrate brake pedal travel sensor.
