Action in service
- If fault codes relating to the DMTL are stored, clear the fault code memory
- Perform DMTL function test (see 'CONDITION FOR FAULT CODE MEMORY ENTRY ').
- If the fault cannot be reproduced, terminate repair work.
- If the fault can be reproduced by the DMTL functional check, check the wiring harness between the DME and DMTL and the DMTL voltage supply! If the wiring harness and the voltage supply are OK, connect a new DMTL and repeat the DMTL functional check. If the test is then OK, end repair.
