Action in service
- If fault codes relating to the DMTL are stored, clear the fault code memory
- Perform DMTL function test (see 'CONDITION FOR FAULT CODE MEMORY ENTRY ')
- If the fault cannot be reproduced, conclude repair!
- If the fault can be reproduced by the DMTL function test, check wiring harness between DME and DMTL and check DMTL voltage supply! If the wiring harness and the voltage supply is OK, plug in a new DMTL and repeat the DMTL function test. If the test is then OK, end repair.
