Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the load-shedding relay for ignition coils and fuel injectors.

The fault is detected when the load-shedding relay does not open within a certain time after terminal 15 OFF.

Possible fault cause:

• Short to ground on actuation line of load-shedding relay
• Load-shedding relay defective
