Condition for fault identification

Voltage condition:

System voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• Coolant temperature > 70 °C
• Calculated temperature of catalytic converter > 450 °C

Time condition:

None

Other conditions:

• Engine on
• No oxygen sensors or mixture fault present
• Speed between 28 and 109 km/h
• lambda control and trim control = ON
• Engine speed between 1200 and 3000 RPM
• A fault can only be detected after all diagnoses for oxygen sensors before and after catalytic converter have been performed
