Fault description

Diagnosis monitors throttle valve adjustment for stiff movement.

The fault is detected if the PWM signal is greater than 90 % for longer than 600 ms.

Possible fault cause:

• Throttle valve 2 blocked, e.g. by foreign body, icing, soiling
• Wiring harness between DME and throttle valve 2 defective
