Fault description

Diagnosis monitors throttle valve adaptation.

The voltage value of the two throttle valve sensors aren't in the valid range (sensor 1: 0.5 V +/- 0.3 V; sensor 2: 4.5 V +/- 0.3 V) in the lower mechanical limit position (throttle valve not completely closed).

Possible fault cause:

• Throttle valve 2 impaired by soiling
• Wiring harness between DME and throttle valve actuator motor 2 defective

• Throttle valve 2 defective
