Fault description

At every 'terminal 15 on' without autoremote start, the Diagnosis monitors the voltages of the throttle valve at the emergency air point and whether the throttle valve can be moved.

The fault is recognized if the voltage value of the two throttle valve sensors in the activated state are not in the valid range for the emergency running position (sensor 1: 0, 74 V +/- 0, 18 V; sensor 2: 4, 26 V +/- 0, 18 V

Possible fault cause:

• Wiring harness between DME and throttle valve defective

• Throttle valve faulty
