Fault description

Diagnosis monitors whether the offset of the signal from the charge air temperature sensor, cylinder bank 2, is too high.

The fault is detected when the charge air temperature is 15 °C above the coolant temperature and the ambient temperature is close to the coolant temperature.

Possible fault cause:

• Wiring harness defective
• Intake air temperature sensor defective or tampered with
