Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the plausible position of the throttle valve in relation to the applied intake manifold pressure.

The fault is detected when the calculated mass flow over the throttle valve drops below the calculated mass flow in the cylinders by 55 %. Cylinder bank 1

Possible fault cause:

minimum fault (intake pipe vacuum measured value (absolute) too small

• Throttle angle faulty

• Brake vacuum-pressure sensor (sensor fault)
