Fault description

Diagnosis monitors whether the mass air flow sensor of cylinder bank 2 sends the corresponding signal in the event of a detected internal fault.

Fault is identified when the digital air mass signal is permanently LOW and the digital temperature signal is permanently HIGH.

Possible fault cause:

• internal fault in the hot film air mass meter
