Fault description

If an electrical fault exists in the throttle valve, diagnosis monitors the signal of the remaining sensor.

The fault is identified is the actual value of the opening angle deviates from the calculated estimate (dependent on air mass, engine temperature, charging pressure,?).

Possible fault cause:

• Secondary fault caused by other throttle valve faults
