Fault description

After engine start and a previous engine downtime of at least 840 min, the diagnosis monitors the ambient temperature by checking the plausibility against the charge air temperature and the engine temperature.

The fault is detected when the ambient temperature deviates by more than 20 °C from the charge air temperature and engine temperature.

Possible fault cause:

• Outside temperature defective
• Wiring harness tampered with
