63 31 193 Replacing LED for rear inside door opener (left or right)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

NOTE: Work shown on the F30 by way of example, deviations in detail are possible in other models.

Release latch mechanisms (1) and lift out LED module (2).

Carefully release latch mechanism (3) on LED module (2) with a suitable tool.

Pull LED module (2) off of fibre-optic conductor (4) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Make sure that the fibre-optic conductor (4) latches correctly in LED module (2).

Catches (1; 3) must not be damaged or missing.
