63 31 165 Removing and installing/replacing center console LED

Special tools required:

00 9 340

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Insert special tool 00 9 340 as illustrated.

Lever trim cover (1) slightly forward and unclip.

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Remove cover (2).

Installation note:

Retaining lugs and guides must not be missing or damaged.

Lever out latch (1) and pull out LED (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Latch (1) must not be missing or damaged.

Make sure LED (2) is correctly seated.
