13 62 585 Replacing exhaust backpressure sensor on turbocharger (N47 D20 O 1 with SCR)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove ACOUSTIC COVER
Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Release clamp (2).
Unclip the exhaust-gas temperature sensor (3) and remove from the pressure hose.
Installation note:
Immediately secure pressure hose back to the hose clamp on the exhaust back pressure sensor.
Installation note:
After replacing the exhaust back pressure sensor, carry out an adaptation using the "Exhaust back pressure sensor upstream of exhaust turbocharger" diagnosis system.
Check stored error/fault messages.
Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
